How We Helped Stratford Off the Wall Streamline Online Course Registration

On paper, Stratford Off the Wall had it all: a website that facilitated online course registrations, accepted payments, and encouraged email newsletter registration. But beneath the surface, something wasn’t right—they were wasting time manually exporting and migrating data from one software tool to another, updates to their website were complicated and time-consuming, and none of their digital tools spoke to each other.

Our Solution

A WordPress & WooCommerce-driven Hub for their Business

We did a few things to help streamline and optimize Stratford Off the Wall’s operation.

The first thing we did was migrate their website from Wix to WordPress, customizing a WordPress Theme, complete with templated page and product layouts, to simplify their ongoing website management. 

Second, we installed WooCommerce, complete with time-saving plugins that helped provide more flexible purchase options for their customers, a centralized and accessible database of course registrants for their administrators, and automated user account creation so students could better access their upcoming course information. 

Lastly, we integrated a new, more cost-effective email marketing platform into the website to grow newsletter subscriptions, as well as create a more detailed (i.e. targeted) email database for future campaigns. 

Once the above was complete, we provided in-person training to educate Stratford Off the Wall on how their site worked, and we remain available to their team for technical support as they continue to roll out new courses and offerings.

Their Website Does More for Them

With a centralized hub for their business, Stratford Off the Wall is enjoying smoother workflows when it comes to course registration processing, payment collection, and course promotion. They can now manage every facet of their customer journey from they backend of their redesigned website. They’re also enjoying significant increases in unique visitors per day, specifically from organic web search, as well as more site engagement.


OTW’s new website is generating 48 unique visitors per day compared to the 19 unique visitors per day delivered by its predecessor. This growth is driven by an over 200% increase in organic search traffic.

With the influx of new unique visits has come a jump in website engagement. The new site is proving to capture user interest more significantly than the old one, with visitors travelling deeper into the site to engage with a broader range of OTW content.
